Aluminum profile manufacturing process
It includes the three processes of molten casting, extrusion and
coloring (including oxidation, electrophoresis coating, fluorine
spraying, powder spraying, wood printing, etc.).
1: Smelting is the first process of aluminum production.
The main process is:
(1) ingredients: according to the specific alloy plate number that
needs to be produced, calculate the addition quantity of various
alloy elements, reasonable collocation various raw materials.
(2) melting: to add with good raw materials according to the
technological requirements to melt in the furnace, and through the
degassing, slag refining method will melt in the slag, gas
(3) casting: the molten aluminium liquid is cast in a certain
casting process, and the casting system is cooled and cast into
extrusion is the method of forming profiles. Firstly, the die is
designed and manufactured according to the section of the profile,
and the heated round casting bar is extruded out of the die by
using an extruder. Commonly used grade 6063 alloy, in the
extrusion, also use an air-cooled quenching process and the

strengthening. Different grades of alloy can be treated by heat
treatment, and their heat treatment system is different.
3: color (here mainly on the process of oxidation)
Oxidation: extruded aluminum alloy profile, its surface corrosion
resistance is not strong, must be anodized surface treatment, in
order to increase the corrosion resistance of aluminum, wear
resistance and appearance of the degree of beauty.
The main process is:
(1) surface pretreatment: chemical or physical methods are used to
clean the surface of the profile and expose the pure matrix to
obtain a complete and compact artificial oxide film. The mirror or
non light (Ya Guang) surface can also be obtained by mechanical
(2) anodizing: the surface of the pre processed profiles, in a
certain process conditions, the substrate surface anodic oxidation,
resulting in a dense, porous, strong adsorption of AL203 film.
(3) sealing: the pore space of the porous oxide film produced by
anodic oxidation is closed, so that the oxidation film is anti
pollution, and the corrosion resistance and wear resistance are
enhanced. The film is colorless and transparent, with strong
adsorption before sealing film, adsorption and deposition of metal
salts in some membrane hole, can make the profile appearance
character (silver) show many colors, except such as: black, bronze,
golden color and stainless steel etc..
